I have always been a big fan of Chanel No.5 since I was a young woman. I like the distinct, mature smell as it always seemed to last much longer than other perfumes. Chanel No.5 has been part of my youth and I can never resist a spray first thing in the morning as I don’t quite feel dressed without it on my neck and wrists. This perfume is a bit more expensive compared to many others on the market but the Chanel House has become synonymous with luxury and elegance hence the price tag. It makes you feel good as soon as you spray it on your skin. At it is seen as luxurious it makes a great gift and a much appreciated one with its signature, unique smell. As the perfume lasts quite long so is great for wearing on a night out as you know the smell will last without having to reapply so, I think this helps justify the price. Also, it is available in three different size bottles so you can buy a bottle to suit your budget.

I would not recommend this perfume for those who do not vintage smelling perfume as the smell is quite strong and old fashioned and may not be suitable for those who want a modern fresh smell. It may be a bit on the pricey side for those looking for a cheaper perfume. For a person wanting to buy a nice gift that would be much appreciated you cannot go wrong with Chanel as you know that the ingredients will be of the highest quality as it was formulated in 1921 by the French-Russian chemist and perfumer Ernest Beaux who was familiar with chemistry and scents so you trust the perfume and the brand. The signature smell of Chanel No.5 will always be a timeless classic as once you start wearing it you will probably continue wearing it throughout your life. I would every woman just to try it once if you haven’t used it before and see for yourself why millions of women wear it before you purchase the 100ml bottle.
