Review

With a spicy, floral woody smell this perfume is quite refreshing to wear. You can wear it day or evening without being overpowering. A trendy, youthful scent with sandalwood, tuberose and ginger.

Twilly D’Hermes perfume was created by Christine Nagel who wanted to achieve a free, bold woman. by adding the twilly-like silk scarf around the neck of the bottle she was creating the  Parisian chic. The bowler hat as the bottle top was inspired by English elegance and is in contrast to the feminine scarf.

The Twilly D’Hermes perfume is available in three sizes; 30ml, 50ml and 85ml. The one shown is 30ml. 

Hermes is a luxury brand but I do think that the price is expensive compared to other luxury brands, The little ribbon and the nice packaing do not justify the price but nevertheless I would appreciate receiving a bottle as a gift as the perfume does have a nice smell but nice enough for me to want to buy it on a regular basis.

Pros
  • Nice rich smell as it contains tuberose, one of the most expensive oils to produce.
  • Nice thick glass bottle which feels expensive.
  • Little Hermes style scarf is a nice touch.
  • Would make a nice gift.
Cons
  • A bit on the pricey side. But, as this perfume is made up of tuberose which is quite expensive to produce and yield as about 1,000 kg of flowers are needed just to produce 1 kg of oil it does explain the price.
