I must admit I really do like these sofas as the silver crushed velvet fabric is shimmering , luxurious looking and absolutely stunning. The roll shape arms make them look quite grand. The crushed velvet sofas are very comfortable especially when resting your head on the arms when lying down. I have a square room so purchased two 3 seaters and two 2 seaters and arranged them in a square around a coffee table and added a blush pink cushion to all 4 sofas to match and contrast my blush pink finishing touches.

There are 5 large scatter cushions on the 3 seater and 3 on the 2 seater. You can move them to different angles to suit as the image of my sofas show. The base padded cushions are wider on the 3 seater than the 2 seater making it a 3 seater. The sofas are slightly lower than a standard sofa. The cushions are removable for washing but being crushed velvet any light dirt blends in with the crushed fabric so you don’t really notice it like you would on a non-crushed velvet fabric sofa. 

Being silver they match many room colours so are ideal if you change your decor at a later date. Crushed velvet has been deemed a luxury for several centuries. Deemed as glamourous in modern times with its shimmering and light refecting sheen is very appealing to many. The materials used today are not pure velvet but since the Industrial Revolution silver crushed velvet is made from a blend of polyester, synthetic silk and viscose but still creates that lovely crushed velvet effect that the very wealthy were accustomed to making it more affordable to the masses.
