I often prefer these slim GHD’s to the wider ones as I find them easier to use especially on the hair to the front of my head and around the ears where I find the wide ones get in the way and sometimes burn my ears. These platinum GHD hair straighteners are much slimmer and therefore easy to handle as they are lighter and narrower than the wider GHD’s and I have a slim chance now of clipping the end of my ears with the hot plates. 

They heat up almost instantly with a beep when they are ready. With one quick swipe my hair is straighter. They are easy to fit in an overnight bag or hand luggage so are great for take on holiday with you. Having the optimum temperature of 185 Celsius evenly distributed on the two golden ceramic plates this actually does straighten the hair in one quick sweep without breaking or damaging the hair. The ground breaking ultra zone technology in the golden ceramic plates predicts the needs of your hair and adjust the temperature accordingly. Personally, with having thick, dry, bleached her I cannot live without my GHD’s. They tame my hair making it look sleek instead of bushy and frizzy. When I wake up in the morning and my hair is all over the place and stick upwards and outwards the first thing I do is turn on my GHD’s to sort my hair out.

I give the GHD Platinum 10/10 for performance and ease of use. I would not go back to using the wider GHD’s after using these slim Platinum GHD hair straighteners and have purchased them for my daughters too as gifts and they use them every day.
