I think the Estee Lauder youth dew perfume should be re-named ‘Vintage Dew’ as it smells quite vintage like the type of perfume your grandmother used to wear. The colour of the perfume looks thick and brown. I was a bit taken aback by its strength. It smells old-fashioned but I was not sure exactly what I could smell. After several hours the strength of the perfume mellowed and it smelt quite nice, like a warm amber with a hint of floral notes. I preferred the smell when it mellowed rather than the first spray. Even when the perfume mellowed, I could still smell it without having to move my wrist close to my nose. It’s a long-lasting scent so good for that reason. I love the bottle it’s in more than the perfume. It reminds me of a lady’s dress with a gold bow at the waist. The bottle was designed the same as their 1950’s original bath oil bottle.
