The perfume has a sensual amber fruit smell and is soft on the skin. It is light enough to wear during the day but a little more intense for evening wear. The name Mademoiselle means ‘miss’ an unmarried woman which appears to suggest this Chanel perfume is aimed at younger women. I would suggest it is suitable for all women who are young at heart and don’t want a strong, powerful perfume. Mademoiselle is light and refreshing and I would like it if I received this as a gift being a mature woman. Chanel perfumes being more high-end, you only tend to wear it for special occasions as you want to make it last but as this is a 100ml bottle you could wear it more often as it goes a long way.
