Review

I found this to be quite a handy machine for garden use. It does what it says it does and sucks in fallen branches and palm tree leaves as shown in the image. The bag hold quite a lot 45 litres of chippings. The machine is easy to set up and handle and its not as noisy as I thought it would be. The wheels make it easy to move around.

It is not heavy or bulky and is easy to wheel around the garden. It’s great for the average size garden and the price would pay for itself in a short while if you think of the cost of purchasing mulch and compost. The shredder will automatically turn itself off when overloaded. It has some good safety features I like the feed paddle that prevents your hands from going close to the feed where the blades are. It shreds and chips quite fast saving time and energy.

I have to give the Maxlander shredder and chipper 10/10. I just wish I had bought one of these years ago as it would have saved  me many trips to the local skip to get rid of all the fallen branches. Also, it would have save me so much money by not having to buy mulch and compost.

Cons

• Suitable for an average size garden. If you have lots of very wide branches I would purchase a different model with a wider feeding hole as this one has a maximum of 1.75 inches. If your branches are wider than this size they won’t go through so bear this in mind.
