I have to admit that this Opium perfume is my all time favourite scent. YSL describe it as follows and I couldn’t agree with them more:- Opium eau de parfum is an oriental fragrance, sulfurous and provocative with an iconic silhouette. Highly erotic, the myrrh drives behind reason, exalts the senses, up to break the rules. The warm amber notes , both precious and sacred, have always exert their power of seduction. Opium Eau de Parfum, the trail of the femme fatale (Yves Saint Laurent).
I love everything about this perfume including the deep amber bottle and the packaging. The smell lasts a full evening. Think spice and floral mixed together with the spice being more dominant like a clove smell. In the mid range price but once spray and you will be hooked on the smell and will wear it all the time. It is available in different size bottles 30ml, 50ml and 90ml. The one shown is 50ml.

Pros
- I cannot get enough of this smell. It makes a woman feel like a woman.
- The bottle and the box it comes in are also nice to leave on display on a dressing table.
- The smell lingers for for hours so you don’t need to keep spraying more on during the evening.
Cons
A bit pricey but it’s so nice to have a bottle of this as the exotic smell adds to it’s powefulness so well worth the money. As the old saying goes ‘you get what you pay for’.
