YSL Opium Perfume 50ML

I have to admit that Opium perfume by YSL is my all-time favourite No.1 scent and just beats Chanel No.5. YSL describe it as follows and I couldn’t agree with them more;- Opium eau de parfum is an oriental fragrance, sulphurous and provocative with an iconic silhouette. Highly erotic, the myrrh drives behind reason, exalts the senses, up to break the rules. The warm amber notes, both precious and sacred, have always exert their power of seduction. Opium Eau de Parfum, the trail of the femme fatale (Yves Saint Laurent). 

I love everything about this perfume from the smell don to the deep amber bottle and the packaging. The smell lasts a full evening. Think spice and floral mixed together with the spice being more dominant like a clove smell. When I spray it I imagine a genie has just jumped out of the bottle and lavished me with sensual powers. I love the little round see-through window on the bottle which tempts you to take a peek at the magic inside. The strong spicy aroma adds to the exoticness and mysteriousness of the power of this perfume. It really is intoxicatingly exotic.In the mid-range price but once spray and you will be hooked on the smell and will wear it all the time. It is available in different size bottles 30ml, 50ml and 90ml. The one shown is 50ml.

YSL opium perfume gets a full 10/10 from me as I knew I was going to be honest and score Opium by Yves Saint Laurent high with it being my all time No.1 perfume. Every woman should try this perfume as I know they will wish they had worn it before.

Pros

• I cannot get enough of this smell. It makes a woman feel like a woman.
• The smell of the myrrh and the spice is just amazing.
• The magical smell is very sensuous and makes a woman feel that way when she wears it
• The bottle and the box it come in are also nice to leave on display on a dressing table.
• The smell lingers for hours so you don’t need to keep spraying more on during the evening.

Cons

A bit pricey but its so nice to have a bottle of this as the exotic smell adds to it’s power so well worth the money. As the old saying goes ‘you get what you pay for’.
